So you don’t know how miso fabulous your life can be? If you purchase a tub of red, white or yellow miso, you’re not only getting a delish meal, you’re also getting:

– Protein – Plant based protein from miso contains all 9 essential amino acids the body needs!

– Manganese- Aids in antioxidant protection, keeping bones healthy and aids in maintaining stable blood sugar levels.

– Zinc- Helps with a healthy immune system.

– Iron- Helps transport oxygen throughout your body.

Misolala! Here’s my absolute favorite marinade/dip or dressing: Mix until smooth.

2 tablespoons red miso paste

2 tablespoons rice vinegar or red wine vinegar

1/2 teaspoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 1/2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil

2 Minute Miso Soup

Add 1-2 Tablespoons of miso paste to 4 Cups of boiling water, add firm sliced tofu, green onions, mushrooms as desired, stir to dissolve paste and enjoy!
