With all the goss on my new book coming out – #CleanGreen Drinks, I’d like to share with you one of the most popular recipes: The Chocolate Peanut Butter Monster – which people can’t seem to get enough of!

These days, who wants to drink a fatty-calorie-laden milkshake when you can get every super benefit in the world frommy #CleanGreen (OMG tastes like a milkshake) drinks!?

With the combination of natural peanut butter, antioxidant packed cocoa powder, and Popeye’s  favorite, you are going to be getting omegas, vitamins, and minerals all with just one touch of  a button.

So buckle up kids, my cookbook is coming out in a mere couple of months so reset your body back to how you have always imagined!

The #CleanGreen Chocolate Peanut Butter Monster

S Baby Spinach, Banana, Pear, Peanut Butter

Serves 3

So really, truly, this is like heaven in a glass. Every friend who tested this recipe had to send a text: “Oh my goodness, it tastes like a chocolate peanut butter cup!” Happy, happy, tummies and happy friends. That’s what I strive for. Can’t wait to receive your text/tweet or post. Enjoy. 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 cups baby spinach

1 frozen banana

½ Bartlett pear, core removed

2 tablespoons natural peanut butter

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup ice

 

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately

Per Serving: 150 calories, 7 g fat ( 1 g saturated, 0 g trans), 4 g protein, 5 g fiber, 8 g sugars, 130 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrates, 0 mg cholesterol

    So we totally made these as part of our Prospect Park 4th of July cook-out, and the only downside is trying to resist eating them too early so you don’t burn your fingers!u00a0 They are just too good to resist!!
