Well here you go, no mindless thinking or wasting of time on this recipe… just glaze and grill honey. Enjoy! xx ♥ck

Candice’s Simple Apricot Glazed BBQ Chicken

Prep time 10 minutes

Cook time 10-15 minutes

Ingredients – 1-1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs  ** Purchase frozen chicken thighs or on sale and then freeze to save time and dinero!

For the Glaze
1/2 cup Apricot Preserves, try for reduced sugar versions to save on calories

1 tablespoon soy sauce ** A great additive to any marinade, sauce or glaze, perfect pantry staple
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard, or Dijon will work as well.

Preparation:

1. Preheat a clean grill to medium heat and lightly coat with olive oil,

2. Add salt to the chicken thighs and place gently on the grill for a few minutes then flip.

3. In a medium bowl whisk together the 2 minute glaze! Apricot preserves, soy sauce, brown sugar and spicy brown mustard, whisk well till all incorporated.  ** Apricot preserves are a great pantry staple for sweet or savory meals!

4. Baste the flipped chicken thighs with the glaze and paint brushes. After 5 minutes on one side, flip to coat the other side with the remaining glaze and cook chicken thru until firm to the touch and well cooked, about 10- 15 minutes total.

** Simple and clever recipe compared to your regular BBQ chicken from bottled BBQ sauce, no additives, preservatives or unknown ingredients, all natural TDF goodness! Word up.

This cake is incredible! I made it last week & could not stop eating it… So moist :) I used it to make pumpkin cake pops which I dipped in dark chocolate – amazing! This is the first recipe of yours I have made but I will def. be making more. FYI I used melted butter instead of oil & added an extra 1/2 teaspoon of each of the 3 spices – prefect!!!

Bre, after you baked it how did it come out? Did you see the 1 cup canola oil on there? + Pumpkin + 3 eggs? Should be a cake batter consistency:) let me know, here to help! xx
