When Life Hands you Lemons: Make Sweet Sweet Rosemary Lemonade

It’s finally summer, which means–as if I have to tell you–it’s time for a sexy summery cocktail! But if you’re mixing for many, you’ll want to make a drink that pleases the ladies without leaving the guys high and dry, (i.e., reaching for a beer). This elegant, summer-inspired lemonade is your answer. It’s got a rosemary twist for a fuller flavor that even the brawniest dudes will want to taste. Plus, there’s something about preparing a cocktail with a fancy garnish that makes you feel like a serious mixologist, right? Serve it with confidence over ice in gingered sugar-rimmed mason jars or glasses. Enjoy and drink responsibly friends!

With love and good taste,
XO Candice

Rosemary Lemonade

What you’ll need:
For the lemon-rosemary simple syrup:
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 rosemary sprigs, approximately 8-inches each, plus 6 more for garnish

For the cocktail:
Vodka, premium, like Ketel One Water
Chilled seltzer water (optional, for fizz)

For additional garnish, if desired:
Agave Granulated or ginger sugar, to rim glasses
Lemon slices or wedges
Crystallized ginger candy
